You will have to reinvent the turkey and dressing if we expect it to be eaten another day! Gather up all your leftovers cause we are going to use them all.
TURKEY POT PIE
Spray a 9-inch casserole dish. Take the leftover cornbread dressing and press it into the bottom and sides of the casserole dish. Bake in a 350-degree oven for approximately 5 minutes, your crust will be a light color brown and a little crusty. Remove from the oven and set aside, allow to cool. In a large bowl combine 3/4 cup of giblet gravy, 2 1/4 cups chopped turkey (skinned removed), 1 cup chopped green bean, salt, and pepper to taste. Mix well. Pour the turkey mixture over the dressing crust, set aside. In another bowl add 2 1/2cups of mashed potatoes, 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream, 4 tablespoons melt butter, 1/8 cup sour cream, whip with a hand mixture until smooth. Bake in a 350-dereeg oven for approximately 15 minutes or until the potatoes are browned. Serve with a simple green salad and cranberry sauce.
