STRAWBERRY COBBLER

Bomb diggie ya’ll. Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream

 

1 cup sugar, 1 (16-ounce) package frozen strawberries, 3 tablespoons melted butter, 2 tablespoons corn starch, 1 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice, 1/4 cup sugar, mix well. Pour everything into a casserole dish. In a bowl add 2 cups buttermilk baking mix, 1/4 cup melted butter, 1/3 cup evaporated milk, 1/3 cup warm water, 4 tablespoons sugar, mix well and pour on top of strawberry mixture.  Bake at  400 degrees for 20 – 25 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
