This is one of my grand babies favorite meals. It’s one of my favorites too. It’s quick, easy and they can prepare the pizzas themselves with very little help from you.
olive oil, 1 (13.8 oz.) can refrigerator pizza crust, 1/4 pound bulk sweet Italian sausage, 1/4 pound pepperoni, 1 minced garlic clove, 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme, 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning, 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, 1 (14 oz.) jar of prepared pizza sauce, 8 ounces fresh sliced mozzarella cheese.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Lightly grease a cookie sheet with olive oil. Unroll the pizza crust onto the cookie sheet. With your fingers, starting in the center press and pat out the dough into a 14 x 12-inch rectangle. Bake for approximately 6 minutes. While the dough is baking add the dry seasonings to the jar of pizza sauce and mix well. Remove the dough from the oven and start layering. Spread the pizza sauce to the edges of the crust top with half the cheese, then layer all the meat top with the remaining cheese. Return to the oven and bake until the cheese melts and is all gooey and bubbly.
