CREAM OF ASPARAGUS SOUP
1(10 oz.) package cut asparagus, 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, 4 cups chicken broth
Combine the asparagus and broth in a medium sauce pan and bring to boil uncovered lower heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add the cream cheese, stir until the cream cheese melts. Serve hot with buttered sourdough toast.
