DINNER IN LESS THAN 30-MINUTES

This dish is dedicated to all the working parents out there that need to prepare and feed their kids in less than 30-minutes.

SHRIMP AND RICE

1/2 cup heavy whipping cream, 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed gumbo soup, 1 (7 oz.) package frozen rice, peas, and mushrooms, 2 cups frozen cooked salad shrimp, 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped, 1/2 teaspoon curry powder.

Get out a saucepan, add the whipping cream the soup and fill the soup can half full with water and dump it in the saucepan, bring to a rapid boil.  Reduce to a simmer, then add the remaining ingredients, stir, cover and simmer for approximately 25 minutes.  Time to eat!

I garnish this dish with slices of navel oranges, toasted slivered almonds, and scrambled eggs, my side dishes are egg rolls and hot steamed green tea
