MAKE YOUR OWN SOURDOUGH BREAD STARTER

1 (1/4 ounce) package of active dry yeast, 2 1/2 cups warm water, 2 cups flour, 1 1/4 tablespoons raw sugar.

Get out a large bowl add 1/2 cup of warm water, dissolve the yeast package in the water.  Add the remaining water, sift the flour at least 2-times mix well then add the sugar. Mix until everything is blended and the batter is smooth.  Cover the bowl with a piece of cheesecloth or a kitchen dry cloth.  Set to the side stir 2-3 times a day keep cover for at least 10-days.  You are now ready to make bread

SOURDOUGH BREAD IS SOMETHING YOU HAVE TO LEARN HOW TO MAKE IN ALL LIKELIHOOD IT IS NOT GOING TO COME OUT PERFECT THE FIRST TIME.

2 cups of the starter dough, 1 tablespoons salted butter, 1/2 cup whipping cream, 1/2 teaspoon sea salt, 1 1/4 tablespoon raw sugar, 3 cups bread flour.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl add the starter, cream, and half the flour, set aside for 10-15 minutes. Add the salt and the remaining ingredients set aside for another 10 minutes. Dump out the dough on a lightly floured surface, knead the dough 4-5 times. Roll out your dough and make your bread.
