The two magic words are delicious and deep fried

FRIED SPARE RIBS

1 slab of St. Louis style spare ribs, pork rub, self-rising flour, cornstarch, salt, pepper, and granulated garlic, and peanut oil for frying.

Wash the ribs lightly sprinkle with olive oil, generously rub commercial pork rub, set aside.  Make up your seasoned flour in a paper bag.  The seasoned flour is made up of flour, cornstarch, salt, pepper and granulated garlic. Drop the ribs into the seasoned flour, shake the bag, shake off the excess flour. Drop the ribs into a deep fryer on high heat (400 degrees) cook for 5-7 minutes or until the ribs are golden brown on all sides.

This is one of the best tailgating appetizers you will ever have.  Serve on a bed of lettuce and red onion rings with your favorite BBQ sauce for dipping.
