1 (15.25 oz.) box yellow cake mix, 1/2 stick unsalted butter, soft, 1/3 cup milk, 1 large egg, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, 6 ounces craisins, roughly chopped, 3/4 cup black walnuts.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease a cookie sheet, set aside. Get out a bowl, add the cake mix, butter, milk, egg, and extract, beat with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Fold in the craisins and nuts. Scoop out, by the teaspoon, the cookie dough, place on the cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Serve with a tall glass of cold milk.
When my kids were small I would make cookies from cake mixes for a quick treat or lunches. Thanks for sharing your recipe.
