I am adding this recipe because I went to the store looking for some pickle peppa sauce and could not find any.  So you do have this horrible experience here is my recipe. Please make it, the recipe is simple but it will elevate a bland bowl of beans or greens to a special and delicious dish.

10 serrano peppers, poke a hole in each of the peppers,  1 cup wine vinegar, 1/4 teaspoon sugar, 1 teaspoon kosher salt, 1 teaspoon olive oil, 5 cloves of garlic, sliced,  6 whole peppercorns, 1-pint mason jar.

Wash and sterilize the jar and lid with boiling water.  Get out a saucepan, add the vinegar, sugar, and oil.  Bring to a boil.  While the vinegar base is boiling add the peppers, garlic, and peppercorn to the jar.   Pour the vinegar mixture into the jar leave approximately 1-inch of space.  Tilt the jar to remove all the bubbles.  Put the lid and cap on the jar.  Refrigerate
