COUNTRY GIRL BEER SAUSAGE
8 hot link sausages. BATTER: 1/2 cup self-rising flour, 1/2 cup cornstarch, 1 large egg, beaten, 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon, 1 1/2 teaspoons granulated garlic, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1 1/2 cup dark beer, oil for frying.
Get out your bowl, dump the flour, cornstarch, chicken bouillon, garlic, and black pepper into the bowl. Slowly add the beer, mix well. Get out the deep fryer, heat the oil to 450-degrees. While the oil is getting hot, dip the sausages in the batter and fry unto crispy and golden brown. Let’s do the damn thing, serve these country sausages with french fried, and green pigeon peas.
