Let’s continue to celebrate the 2019 NCAA Championship games with a quick and delicious salad. Avocados are high in good fat. Eaten in moderation, avocados can help to lower your bad cholesterol and blood pressure. Crab meat is also beneficial in positively balancing your cholesterol levels. Crab meat is low in fat and contains Omega-3polyunsaturated acids that are believed to inhibit aggressive behavior.
AVACADO CRAB SALAD
8 ounces of lump crab, 1 cup mangos, diced, 1 large avocado, cut in half lengthwise, 1/8 cup red bell pepper, diced, 1/4 cup red onions, diced, 1/4 cup green tomatoes, diced, 1/8 cup chopped fresh basil, 3 chopped anchovy fillets, 1 tablespoon lemon zest, 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil, salt, and pepper to taste.
Scoop out the avocado meat, leave enough to hold the shell form. Get out a bowl, dump everything into the bowl mix well and serve. When you are ready to serve, scoop everything back into the avocado shell.
