Bomb Diggety Easter Dessert
1 1/4 cups sugar, 1 (16-ounce) package frozen strawberries, 3 tablespoons melted butter, 2 tablespoons cornstarch, and 1 1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice. Pour everything into a lightly buttered casserole dish mix well and set aside. In a bowl add 2 cups buttermilk baking mix, 1/4 cup melted butter, 1/3 cup evaporated milk, 1/3 cup warm water, 4 tablespoons sugar, mix well and pour on top of strawberry mixture. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 – 25 minutes or until the crust bubbles up and is golden brown.
