french cut green beans


1 cup toasted slivered almonds, 3 tablespoons minced garlic, 3 tablespoons minced onions, 6 tablespoons salted butter, melted, 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice, 1 (12 oz.) package frozen French-style cut green beans, 4 slices of bacon, 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon zest.

Fry bacon crispy, remove from skillet.  Drain, crumble, set aside. Cook the beans according to the package directions, add 1 tablespoon chicken bouillon.  Drain the beans add the minced garlic, onions, butter,  lemon juice, and toss.   Make sure the beans are fully coated, taste, add salt and pepper as needed.  Pour the beans onto a serving bowl or a platter, evenly sprinkle the lemon zest, almonds and bacon crumbles on top, serve.
