First things first, get a Keg of dark beer a couple dozen crystal champagne flutes and a case of ripe strawberries.   I am serving beer in crystal champagne flutes with a strawberry on the side with my Country Girl Cavier.


2 (16-ounce) cans of blackeyed peas, drained, 1 (8 oz.) can black beans, drained, 1 (8oz.) can white beans, drained, 1/4 cup green bell pepper, diced, 1/4 cup celery diced, 1/2 cup purple onion, diced, 2 garlic cloves, minced, 1 jalapeno pepper, finely chopped (be sure to leave in the seeds), 1/4 cup cilantro, finely chopped, 3 small tomatoes, chopped, 1/2 cup cantaloupe, diced small, 2 teaspoons cumin, 1 teaspoon seasoning salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 1/4 cup Italian salad dressing

Pour the blackeyed peas and black beans into a bowl.  Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl.  Toss until everything is well blended.  Serve with pita chips and scoop corn chips
