
BUBBY STEAKHOUSE BURGER DAY
Today is my big brother’s birthday. I am declaring today and every January 6th as Bubby Burger Day.
1 pound 80-20 ground beef, 1/2 pound ground turkey, 1/2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 tablespoon whole milk, 1 1/2 teaspoons sea salt, 1 teaspoon black pepper, 1 1/4 teaspoon granulated garlic, 4 slices extra sharp cheddar cheese, 4 slices of bacon, 4 hamburger buns, romaine lettuce, white onions slices, tomato slices, dill pickles, mayonnaise, and yellow mustard. Don’t forget the French fries with a garlic aioli sauce.
Get out a skillet add 4 slices of bacon, fry until crispy. Remove from the skillet, break in half. Get out a bowl, add the meat, salt, pepper, garlic, and Worcestershire sauce. Using your hands, thoroughly combine until well blended and smooth. Scoop out 8 even portions. Make a ball, then flatten out to 8 patties. Add the patties to the medium-high grill skillet; grill for about 2 minutes on each side. Add the cheese about 1 minute before the burgers are ready.
