WHAT ARE YOUR CHALLENGES?

With this pandemic, we all are facing challenges.  I am challenged; my blessings outweigh the challenges!   Lord, let me live my life according to 1 John 3:18:  The gist of this is passage actions speak louder than words.  My actions determine my love for you.  Love is a verb.  Father God, help me show my love through my actions. Don’t let me speak empty words; let my deeds show my love.  Let me tune in to your love language and do something.  Amen.

My family has handed down dump cake recipes for at least three generations.  The peach dump cake is my favorite.

PEACH DUMP CAKE

2 (16 oz.) cans peaches, light syrup, 1 (15.25 oz.) package super moist yellow cake mix, 1cup sour cream, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup milk, 1/3 cup vegetable oil, 4 tablespoons butter, 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Dump the cans of peaches into a 9×13-inch aluminum pan, set aside.    Get out a bowl, add the cake mix, sour cream, eggs, milk, and oil. Mix well.  Pour the batter over the peaches.

Cut the butter into small pieces, evenly disperse the butter over the cake batter. Evenly sprinkle the cinnamon on top of the butter. Bake for 40-45 minutes.
