
TATER TOT CASSEROLE
1/2 pound (80/20) ground beef, 1 (15 oz.) can chili without beans, 3 tablespoons green bell pepper, chopped, egg cup white onions, chopped, 2 celery stalk, chopped, 2 teaspoons minced garlic, 1 (4 oz.) can sliced black olives, 2 (10.75 oz.) cans cream of mushroom soup, 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables or your favorite vegetable, 2 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded, 3 cups frozen tater tots thawed, 2 green onions chopped.
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Get out a 9 x 13 baking dish. Lightly grease the baking dish set it aside. Get out a skillet, add the ground beef cook on medium-high or 350 degrees until the meat is brown and crumbly. Drain the oil off the meat. Add the chili, bell pepper, onions, garlic, and celery; continue to cook, stir often for another 5-7 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste. Pour and evenly distribute the meat mixture into the baking dish. Get out a bowl, add the mixed vegetables, soup, and olives, mix well. Pour the soup mixture on top of the meat mixture. Sprinkle the cheese on top. Add the tots. Bake uncovered for 30-45 minutes or until the tots are golden brown and the dish is heated through. When ready to serve, sprinkle the green onions on top.
