Let’s get ready to celebrate another day of love. Serve this waffle as a breakfast treat or a dessert. Use your imagination when you top off and decorate your waffle.  Last but not least, serve with a long stem red rose and a kiss!

1 (15.25 oz.) package chocolate cake mix,  1 teaspoon sugar, 3 eggs, divided, 1 cup water, 1/3 cup vegetable oil, 2 teaspoons chocolate extract.

Preheat Belgian waffle iron to 355-360 degrees.  Lightly spray with butter flavored cooking spray. Get out a bowl, add the cake mix, sugar, egg yolks, water, oil, and extract, mix well.  Beat the whites until you have stiff peaks. Fold in the egg whites.  Pour batter onto the waffle iron. Close the lid and flip. If your waffle maker does not have a doneness indicator, bake for 3-5 minutes or until the steam stops.  The waffle is ready; remove from the iron.  Do not stack the waffles.
