CORN BEEF BRISKET

CORN BEEF BRISKET

Get out the slow cooker, cut a medium yellow onion into quarters, 1 carrot, peeled and chopped in half, 2 garlic cloves, 2 celery stalks, cut in half. Place the 3-pound package corn beef brisket with brine and pickling spice and 1 (6 oz.) can of dark beer on top.

Set the cooker on low, cook for about 6-7 hours.  The meat is ready when it is tender and falling apart.

  1. My husband cooks once a year, and corned beef and cabbage is what he makes. It’s a good thing he can use the instant pot!
