PEACH DUMP CAKE
Dump cakes are very easy to make and absolutely delicious. The basic recipe is caned crushed fruit and box cake mix. With Christmas coming up consider a dump cake for dessert.
2 (16 oz.) cans crushed peaches in heavy syrup, 1 (18.25 oz.) package yellow cake mix, 3/4 cup salted butter, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, 2 tablespoons sugar, 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Dump the peaches, reserve the syrup into a 9×13-inch aluminum pan, set it aside. Get out a bowl, add the cake mix, peach syrup, vanilla, and sugar, mix. Pour the cake batter over the peaches. Cut the butter into small pieces, evenly distribute the butter over the cake batter. Evenly sprinkle the cinnamon on top of the butter. Bake for 40-45 minutes.
